Author Guidelines
Manuscript Preparation and Style Guidelines
Manuscript preparation and style guidelines follow, with slight modifications, the APA-6 Style Documentation. Submissions must contain all the necessary data for clear and unambiguous identification.
1. Format
- Manuscripts must be typed on A4 paper (210mm x 297mm) in 11-point Arial font and single-spaced, except for indented quotations.
- Save the manuscript as a Word file.
- All pages, including those with tables and figures, must be numbered sequentially.
- Spell out numbers from one to ten, except when used in tables, lists, or with scientific/technical units (e.g., "three days," "3 kilometers"). Numbers above ten should be expressed numerically.
- Authors are encouraged to use the latest version of the journal's template, included at the end of this document.
2. Language
- The manuscript must be written in clear, academic English.
- Spelling should follow Webster’s International Dictionary.
- To ensure an anonymous review, authors should avoid identifying themselves directly or indirectly in the manuscript. A single author should not use the word “we.”
- Authors whose native language is not English are strongly encouraged to have their manuscript professionally edited for grammar and clarity before submission.
3. Article Length
- The manuscript should be 3,000-5,000 words (excluding abstract, tables, figures, and references).
- Manuscripts that do not meet this word count may be returned for revision. Final word count acceptance is at the editor's discretion.
4. Plagiarism Policy
- The plagiarism level must be below 15%, with no single source contributing more than 3%.
5. Article Structure
5.1 Title Page
- Title: The title should be specific, effective, and concise (10-15 words), formatted in Arial, 15-point font.
- Authors' Names and Affiliations: Provide the full names of all authors, their affiliations, and complete addresses (including postal codes and country). The ORCID ID of the corresponding author is encouraged but optional.
- Abstract:
- No citations in the abstract.
- Summarize the manuscript's purpose, methods, findings, and value.
- Limit the abstract to 200 words, written in English.
- Keywords: Provide 5-7 specific keywords reflecting the article's core topics. Include JEL classification, if applicable.
5.2 Main Article Structure
Manuscripts should follow these main headings (flexible subheading terms are acceptable):
- Introduction: Define the study's purpose, significance, and research gap.
- Literature Review: Summarize major writings on the topic, including scholarly articles and reports.
- Research Method: Describe sampling, data collection, and measurement processes.
- Results: Present findings with sufficient detail to justify conclusions.
- Discussion: Address the study’s purpose, contributions, limitations, implications, and future research directions.
- Conclusion: Summarize key findings and suggestions without duplicating the abstract.
- Acknowledgments (optional): Recognize contributions and support received.
- Conflicting Interests: Declare any potential conflicts of interest.
- References: Include a minimum of 15 references formatted according to APA-6 Style. Use citation tools like Endnote, Zotero, or Mendeley.
6. Artwork
- Provide high-quality images with a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
- Tables and figures must be numbered and titled (e.g., Table 1, Figure 2).
- Figures reproduced from other works require copyright permission.
7. Supplementary Files
Supplementary files may include additional data or materials that enhance understanding but are not essential to the manuscript.
8. Important Notes for Contributors
- Manuscripts must be professionally copyedited before submission.
- Verify in-text citations and references to avoid unused bibliography entries.
- APA-6 Style (with DOIs) is mandatory.
- The journal does not accept footnotes, endnotes, or landscape-oriented tables/figures.
9. Journal Template
Authors are encouraged to use the provided journal template, available at the end of this guideline.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
