Event Lifecycle Traceability in Karisma Event Nusantara’s Public Digital Records
Abstract
National event programmes publish information as activities are selected, revised, delivered and evaluated. Whether these records remain connected across digital products is less well understood. This study examines information continuity in Indonesia's Karisma Event Nusantara (KEN) programme using a structured documentary case study. We reconstructed the designation cohort of 110 events and coded 13 public reporting points for named event identity, dated status statements, event-level outcomes, programme scope and publication metadata. All eleven named cancellations matched the original roster, and the ministry reported 99 deliveries. The event catalogue identifies individual activities, whereas the impact extract publishes six aggregate indicators without economic outcomes for named events. Two 2026 publications report different economic-impact figures for KEN; the annual performance report also presents a separate total for the wider Event by Indonesia portfolio. These findings distinguish record continuity across published event and status records from result continuity across programme populations, indicators and publication versions.
