Abstract

This study develops a conceptual framework integrating Digital Halal Integrity (DHI), Ecological Aesthetics (ECA), and Green Ergo-Iconic Value (GEIV) to enhance global purchase intention for Indonesian halal MSMEs. Employing qualitative methodology through document analysis, content analysis, and visual semiotic analysis of MSME digital presence, this research addresses the critical gap between halal certification requirements and green consumerism trends in the digital economy. The proposed framework synthesizes blockchain-enabled halal traceability with ecological aesthetics in digital branding, moderated by Digital Social Influence (DSI) and Perceived Economic Value (PEV). Findings reveal that the integration of ethical halal integrity with environmental aesthetics creates distinctive ergo-iconic value that minimizes barriers to global market entry for MSMEs. This research contributes theoretically by bridging the separation between integrity and aesthetics dimensions in halal supply chain literature, and practically by providing actionable strategies for MSMEs, policymakers, and certification bodies to enhance Indonesia’s position in the global halal economy valued at USD 2.29 trillion
